What is keeping us busy?

Some of our children have been making videos of them reading to share with their friends. Click each video to listen to Saara and Helen reading to you all.

We have been busy setting up new email accounts for classes so that parents and carers can email class teachers directly. We are pleased to be able to tell you that these accounts are now set up so that you can contact  teachers with queries rather than going through the school office email. Teachers will monitor emails frequently and will endeavour to answer any queries raised.

More general queries should still be sent to the school office and in particular, queries relating to the children currently in school.

Pease see the attached policy that outlines acceptable use of email. By sending an email, you will be agreeing that you have read the policy and agree to adhere by the guidelines within it.

Click to read the Acceptable Use Email Policy

Teachers can only communicate with pupils via the school VLE; the class emails are for parent use only. We will not be able to discuss children other than your own in any communications, as is the normal protocol for any school communications.

The email addresses are:

nursery@bookerhill.bucks.sch.uk

reception@bookerhill.bucks.sch.uk

year1@bookerhill.bucks.sch.uk

year2@bookerhill.bucks.sch.uk

year3@bookerhill.bucks.sch.uk

In School

This week, teachers have been busy keeping in touch with the children using the school VLE. It has been great to hear from so many of our children and it looks like they have been very busy doing lots of home learning including some lovely creative activities.

The children who have been at school made a positivity rainbow with Mr Bowden, Miss Marx and Mrs Smith.

Share your positivity rainbows with us and we will add them to this news page. Send them by email or through the school VLE.

Last week in school we have been making art work to say thank you to the key workers. We used buttons to make them bright and colourful!

We also grew our own positivity rainbows using kitchen towels, felt tip pens and water!
