January Lockdown - information
On January 4th 2021, it was announced that all schools needed to return to remote learning for the majority of pupils with immediate effect.
Booker Hill School is therefore providing Blended Learning in the form of on-site learning for vulnerable children and the children of keyworkers, and remote learning for all other pupils.

Our Remote and Blended Learning plan was updated in December 2020 to reflect the guidance issued by the Department for Education with new expectations included and a revised information leaflet for parents and carers issued to all families. Summary Expectations - Remote Learning
- Oak Academy will be used as an immediate form of home learning provision in the initial 24 hours after any period of isolation or lockdown commences
- Following this, teachers will share daily lessons and activities in line with the above timings
- All children (with the support of parents and carers) will be expected to upload / post to their Seesaw online learning journal on a daily basis to share their home learning and to receive feedback from teachers
- Teachers will provide feedback to children on a daily basis
- Non engagement will be swiftly addressed through telephone calls, texts and emails to parents and carers
- Parent and carers should contact teaching staff should they have difficulties with organising home learning in line with the above timings
