Roman Day!Year 4 had lots of fun being Romans for the day! we have been very busy and got up to lots of exciting Roman activities. Thank you for providing the children with their Roman costumes - they looked like real Romans! Everyone got into the spirit and at the end of the day, the children performed a fantastic class assembly!

The Class Assembly and Disco Inferno dance will be uploaded here soon. Thank you for your patience.November 2020Year 4 have been extremely busy in maths. We have been developing our knowledge of units of measurement by introducing the km! The children are now focusing on multiplication and division facts.    In DT, Year 4 have been challenged to design, make and evaluate Roman shields of their own.A fantastic result! Autumn 2020Year 4 have had a great start to the school year and have been very busy learning lots of exciting new things. Our Roman's topic has given us the chance to be creative while developing our history knowledge.               Year 4's mufti day was spooktacular!
Dear ParentsWelcome to Year 4! I am excited to begin the 2020/2021 school year at Booker Hill Primary School. I look forward to seeing some familiar faces and meeting new ones. Teaching your child is a tremendous responsibility and I will do my best to ensure that each pupil has a safe and motivating learning experience in this upcoming year. However, I cannot do this without the help of you, the parents. We are partners in the learning process. I believe it is very important to communicate between home and school and I will do my best to keep you informed. should you have any questions, comments or concerns at anytime throughout the year, please contact me at the school or by email. I hope you take the time to read the, 'Meet the Teacher' PowerPoint which will inform you what is new in Year 4 during Autumn 2020.Warm regardsMrs Dunham
