To all the lovely children in our Nursery Class

I hope you and your families are enjoying the wonderful sunshiny days. I am really missing all of you.

As it is very important for us all to keep safe at the moment, the leaders of our country have asked us to help by staying in our houses for some time. I am staying at home with my family and I am keeping my family safe by looking after them.

I hope you are all helping your mums and dads, brothers and sisters at home to stay safe too. I have made a list of activities that your parents and you can do to have fun and help you keep learning at home.

I will send a new list of fun activities every week. Just do a little bit every day.

Please be good for your mums and dads. I know you can make good choices and be kind to your friends and family.

Lots of love from

Ms Marx and all of the other nursery teachers

Autumn 2019

In our Nursery we are supported by the following staff:

Our Class Teacher and Key-Person for Red Group is Ms. E. Marx

Key-Person for Blue Group is Mrs. F. Siddique

Key-Person for Yellow Group is Miss J. Masterton

Key-Person for Green Group is Miss Brooker

Our Nursery Assistant is Mrs. K. Humphreys

Our Topics have been "Me, me, me!" and "Let's Celebrate!"

We have shown curiosity about natural objects and have carefully watched the world around us change.

While playing in our garden we have shown high levels of energy and fascination.

Taking a risk, engaging in new experiences and learning by trial and error while building were so much fun!

Taking a role in our play and acting out life experiences with our friends kept us busy too.

While maintaining focus on our activities for extended periods of time, we have improved our fine-motor and mark-making skills.

Seeking challenge we have improved our understanding of numbers and shapes.

Engaging in open ended activities we have loved singing some favourite songs like "Twinkle, twinkle..." and acting out favourite stories like "The Very Helpful Hedgehog".

Showing satisfaction in meeting our own goals we have improved our technology skills.

We have paid attention to detail and have taken on different roles while practising for our Christmas Carol sing-a-long for parents.
